Teamwork

We don’t have to figure everything out.  We at Grace Community Church don’t have to answer every question, or solve every problem ourselves.  People often say of society’s ills, “the church needs to do something.”  We do, but we at Grace don’t have to do it all ourselves.

We were reminded of this again when Rebecca Goodwin Feldmann of Charlottesville Abundant Life Center reported to us this past Sunday.  We learned how the prayers of a lady who lived in tough part of town were answered in part by her connection with Dr. Amy Sherman to result in the forming of Abundant Life Center almost two decades ago (1996).  Praise the Lord that we have partners in ministry who have figured out a lot of things and acted on it.  Now, as a part of our life together we can plug in there and serve, as well as donate money and goods to the ministry.

The team for Christ in our community is much bigger than me, or even Grace Community Church.  We have friends.  We have partners.  They’ve figured out a lot.  We can help!
