I pray that all of your children have a boring testimony.  I bet you do the same thing.  What made me think of this is the wonderful time we had baptizing Quinn Wood (James Arthur Wood IV).  We had a baptismal team up there this week! Little Quinn’s family is LOADED with believers.  His dad Jimmy is one of our elders.  His grandfathers have pastoral backgrounds.  Several generations of the women on both sides of his family are Christ-followers.  His great-uncle and aunt are wonderful believers (and leaders at GCC).  Many of his cousins are believers. They all prayed that he would never remember a day that he didn’t know he was a sinner and know Christ Jesus as Savior.  They want him to have a boring testimony.

Some of you describe your testimonies as boring.  Praise God for boring testimonies!  Truthfully, they are exciting testimonies.  Lord, let our children and youth have boring testimonies.  Spare them the pain and heartache so many of us have known.  May generation after generation coming from GCC know the faithful love of God.
