Small Groups at Grace Community Church

We are passionate about Small Groups at Grace Community Church. That’s because we believe Small Groups can be a place for unique community, offering opportunity for spiritual growth, nurture, outreach, and deep relationship with other people at GCC. In fact, we see Small Groups as the hands and feet that give concrete expression to many of our Biblically mandated tasks and values as a church. To put it simply, we want to be more than a church with Small Groups; we want to be a church of Small Groups.

In our Small Groups, we get together for fellowship, for Bible study, and for prayer and sharing. As we study and talk, we want our groups to help us put our faith into practice, recognizing that faith takes shape in community. Jesus never gave us the option to be a “lone ranger” as His followers. Together we are His body. Together we encourage, support, challenge, disciple, minister, and grow.

As you visit our church, we would like for you to visit some of our Small Groups. Don’t feel like you are automatically making a long-term commitment to a group as soon as you show up. Look around. You’ll find out who we are as a church by visiting some different groups, and GCC has a variety to offer. Not only do we have groups that range from “beginner friendly” to “in depth study,” we also have groups that address the unique needs of men and women. We are also trying to form new groups as often as possible, so we hope you’ll be able to find a chance to get started.

If you have questions or want advice about groups, call Don Ward at the church office.
