We seek to be an outward focused church that brings the Gospel’s life changing message of hope to our neighbors, community, and the world. We want to remind one another constantly of the Gospel’s promises.
We encourage small group involvement to foster Christian growth and authentic relationships. We understand that ministry and service can take a variety of forms and encourage one another to find creative outlets for expressing God’s grace.
The gospel of Christ crucified and resurrected is the very heart of God’s glory. In proclaiming Christ to all nations, tribes, and tongues, we chiefly draw attention to God’s surpassing worth; we also fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28) and we find our delight, presenting Jesus Christ as the only hope in a broken sinful world.
We promote missions and evangelism by:
We encourage our believers to invite friends, co-workers, and neighbors to worship with us every Sunday. Along with this we try to hold as many creative and fun events to invite our friends and neighbors.
We strive to naturally enter into relationships with non-Christians. We desire to have these relationships to be personal, loving, and full of acts of unselfish kindness and generosity. In these relationships we take opportunities to talk about what it has meant to us to follow Jesus Christ.
We ask ourselves what are the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors. We want to be a living example of God’s kindness and goodness. We want to provide as much we can to our community and verbalize the Good News at the same time. We want to remind others that His love is free and tangible.
Some of our small groups are service-oriented groups. They seek out needs in the community and care for others. Some examples of this have included, volunteering at soup kitchens, cutting wood and delivering it to families in need during the winter months, and but not limited to, completing projects for those in need such as building a deck or painting a house.
In the end we want to make sure that our church is a place that is for all sinners-including us! A place to grow in relationship with him, no matter what phase of knowing Jesus someone may be in. We want to be a living representative of God’s love to all. By loving others as Christ loves us we hope to draw people to Him.
