Children’s Ministries

The Children’s Ministries at Grace Community Church exist to serve our children and families. Our goal is to assist parents in bringing their children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith.

Core Values

• Scripture. The Bible is our basis for all teaching. It is God-inspired and His inerrant Word.
• God-Centered. Our curriculum and approach is to center on God as the main character in each lesson. As we show children the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Jesus, they develop a solid foundation of trust and faith in Him.
• God’s Grace. God’s grace is central in all parenting and teaching. All of our lessons will strive to show how God’s grace is shown throughout scripture.
• Covenant Commitment. We believe strongly that it is a corporate body commitment to train up the next generations. A variety of gifts are implemented in ministering to our children. There are many ways to be involved in growing faith in the next generations.
• Child-targeted. Everything we do in Children’s Ministries is to serve our children and to reach them at their level with God’s love.
• Large group/Small group. Just like adults, children need to experience God in large groups and in smaller, more intimate groups.

Nursery Vision Statement

Our nursery exists to show God’s love to infants and toddlers while giving them a safe and friendly place to be during church. It also allows parents time to focus on worship and learning about God in Sunday School and church. The leaders and helpers strive to give our youngest children a fun and enjoyable introduction to church.

Children’s Church Vision Statement

Children’s Church at Grace Community Church exists to train our children in the act of worship and to give them a solid foundation in God’s Word. Children’s Church is basic in focus, evangelistic, seeker-friendly, visitor-friendly, engaging and fun. It is designed to help children grasp basic Biblical truths and the gospel, while learning to worship God.

Children participate in our corporate worship until they are dismissed for their classes prior to the sermon. Teachers and parents will celebrate with our children when they graduate from Children’s Church to corporate worship.

• Childrens' Church (children dismissed prior to sermon): 3 years - 3rd grade
