Word of the Week

Word of the week: Wonder

I wonder what’s going on? Why has so and so left the church? Why did we change ___ in the worship service? When did we decide to do a church plant?

Is that you? Do you have questions that bug you but you haven’t asked? If you are a member here, you should know you always have the right to ask questions. If you want to talk to a pastor about a question, we invite you to do so. If you want to talk to one of the elders, we can help you get in touch with them. Our staff members’ contact information is always on the back of the bulletin. Your questions are helpful. If you are asking them, I assume others are wondering about the same things! And know this, if you ever want to come to an elders meeting (we call them session meetings), you are welcome to sit in and listen.  Unless we are dealing with a sensitive matter, they are open meetings. If you want some time at the meeting let me know and we will plan for it. If the agenda is already full, we can even arrange a time to meet with you at your convenience. No need to wonder!  Just ask!

Now, here is wonder of another kind:  I’m wondering at the grace of God and how he is working at Grace Community Church. It looks like our Japan 2017 team is within a whisker or two of meeting their financial goals for their trip. This is the third missions trip of the year, and all have been well supported. Some outside friends have helped with all of them, but I am full of wonder and amazement at God’s grace and your generosity. Thank you. God bless you.

In Him,

Don
