Word of the week: Wow!

We just had one of the best weekends ever at Grace Community Church.  We hosted the Japan Partnership for their first ever regional missions event. If you missed it, be sure to hear Jeremy Sink’s powerful Sunday message. Some of the other Japan Partnership Missions Conference talks will be posted eventually.  Over seventy people were present from all over the region.  The speakers were outstanding.

Some of our GCC family helped make it spectacular: Susan Nelson and Barbara Eppard helped make the place beautiful and keep people well fed.  Candy Rowley did lots of admin work for us beforehand.  Jeff Gayman was the technical wizard for the event, navigating two video conversations through the internet in addition to the usual tech duties.  Karen Sawyer started us off with some great worship on Friday night.  A number of you were gracious hosts to our guests.  Cara Kidd arranged childcare for the event. And Tag Tuck engaged lots of you with missionaries during Foundations on Sunday.

So my reaction to all of it: Wow!  And thanks!
