Word of the Week: COUNTDOWN!
The buzz around the church office these days reminds me of my days as a NASA brat. Dad was always working on launching something. Most of the times it was rockets to faraway places - once it was a state of the art wind tunnel. That meant tons of work and planning and preparation for a very exciting moment. That moment lead to other exciting things - science from the moon and Mars. Feels like blast off is coming. The fall is going to be HUGE…there are chili cookoffs, a “one life” effort to invite friends on our 20th anniversary, a mission trip, a church plant, loads of new youth activities…WOW! Pray for all of us as we work toward this eventful fall. A lot of stuff kicks off the week after Labor Day. I can’t wait, and yet there is so much to do!
Volunteers - we need volunteers! This “rocket” is lacking some fuel! Help us get it launched!
And, it’s great to be back. Check out the blog for more on the trip to Malawi.
In Him,
Don
