Word of the Week: Goodbyes

Goodbyes are always hard, right? Recently, Grace elder Chris Kidd, who was on sabbatical this year, came to check in with his fellow elders. He told us that during this season of his sabbatical and Cara’s recent time coming off of GCC staff, they had been staying closer to their home (off of Highway 20). They came to realize that the long drive to Grace made life challenging for their young family. Chris and Cara have decided to seek fellowship closer to home where they could remain active and care well for their two children. We are grateful to God for them and their 12 years of membership and service at Grace. The elders of the church received Chris’ resignation from elder and prayed together for Chris, Cara, Zach and Maddie. Please convey to them your love and support.
