Word of the Week: Celebration

Why is it that spring is always the time of such awesome celebrations? There is the whole wedding thing where so many people choose the warm season of the year to get married, so our mailboxes are full of “save the date” cards. Then there is the graduation thing - high school and college students are getting ready to finish one season of life and start another. Those seasons end up touching our Grace family as well. We see young people that some of us have known their whole lives move forward to future education or job opportunities.

The Hedman family has been with Grace for more than ten years. Their boys have grown into young men before our very eyes. Jack and Jude are graduating this year and moving on to their next phase of life. The Hedman family sees their church family as integral to the progress their boys have made. They wanted a venue to invite any of you to join in the celebration of their sons’ forward progress in life. I thought I’d give a shout out in the word of the week: If you have a connection with them, why not block out some time to join the party?
