Word of the Week: Mature

Are you willing to do some homework before this week’s sermon?  It’s very simple.  I want you to think about what the word “mature” means when referring to a follower of Christ. If it helps, consider these questions: 1) What adjectives describe a mature Christian?  2) Do I know anyone that meets that, to some level?  3) How do I decide what makes someone mature? 4) What do you think about your own maturity as a Christian?

For extra fun, read our passage for the current sermon series - Ephesians 3:14-21 - and see if it affects your thinking about maturity.

Mature - it’s a tricky concept when we use the adjective to describe a Christian, isn’t it?
