Word of the Week

Word of the week: Where?

Where do I find holy week in the gospels? Some of you who are new to the Bible are wondering where in the Bible you find the accounts of the events of the last week of Jesus’ life - before the resurrection.  I’ll give you the simple trick, but then give you the specific places to look. The trick:  the four gospels are the four accounts of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Each of them end with either the resurrection or the ascension (his rising through the clouds to heaven). So start at the end, and flip backwards till you find Palm Sunday. On Easter Sunday, you might want to add the first few verses of Acts 1 since there are some great details right there. Specifically, here are the “addresses” in the Bible.
