Word of the week: Wow!

This past Sunday night GCC hosted the Greene County Ministerial Association’s Martin Luther King service. It was a “wow” evening. Joyous and uplifting worship, spot on and encouraging preaching from Dr. Alvin Edwards, and a generous offering were some highlights. Afterwards we entertained our guests and, as always is the case, new friendships are formed and connections are realized. We realize that we already know each other, work together, and live together. We get a little taste of the unity that Jesus Christ won for his church on the cross. So thank you Lord! Wow!
