This week I'm happy to be writing to you from Perimeter Church in Atlanta, Georgia where I'm along for the ride with our youth at GoldRush - a conference for students, by students. That's no joke either. The students of Perimeter church came up with the conference theme, they are the speakers, the band, the tech crew, the hospitality team, the prayer team, and even the missions team! It has been so impressive to see what youth can and want to do for the kingdom of God in each other's lives. It's also great to see how our students respond when people their own age are the ones challenging them to live for Christ.

This year's theme is Timeline. Everything is geared toward helping us understand how our personal timeline fits into God's eternal timeline. No matter my past, Christ calls me to live in the present with Him, looking toward his glorious future. So each day has focused on those areas: past, present, and future. I could write several paragraphs about this, but let me challenge you instead to find one of our junior high or high school students who are on this trip and ask them about it yourself once we return. Now I've gotta jet...more seminars, more lunch, more missions all happening here this week, but I wanted you have a glimpse.
